Lesson 1403 – More Chicken Shame

Years ago, I took a photo of our house chicken, Charlie, when for the second time she pecked the “H” key (‘ell no!) off of my husband’s laptop key board. Part of the blame for that one goes to Marc. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice… I have seen a recent rise in chicken shaming on the internet and I’ve even seen Charlie’s “H” photo used in various places. (For the record here is the official Chicken Shame Facebook page.) Apparently chicken shaming is a thing.

Anyway, we were having dinner outside on the patio, like we always do in the summer and two of our chickens decided to make new entries into the chicken hall of shame.

(Don’t you just hate when this happens?)

And of course, Charlie, never to be one bested, decided that she was going to get in on the fun.

Honestly, chickens these days, you can’t turn your back on them for a minute.
