Lesson 931 – Elf in a coop – December 24

Elf in a coop

The chickens were nestled all snug in their coop…

No, wait, when you have chickens, there’s really only one word that rhymes with coop and I’m not going to go there today.

Instead, Eeehiyo and Carol are going to leave homemade Suet (yum) cookies and fresh water by the henhouse with care in hopes that Saint Nicholas soon would be there.

  1. I think you should go for it. Start off something like:

‘Twas the night before Christmas and all through the pen
The poultry was all roosting, to the last hen…

    -and for your line-

The chickens were nestled all snug in their coop
Thankfully not in a warm winter’s soup

OK, I’ll leave the chicken writing to the expert…..

  2. That was great. I think you must have happy chickens.
