Lesson 787 – Civilization and nesting boxes

For those of you who think you need a nesting box for each of your birds (because, after all, you are a civilized chicken farmer), I give you this:

It’s kind of like one of those brain teasers puzzles – count the triangles in this picture. Please note the lack of privacy curtains, bucolic paintings on the wall, and obligatory glass of ice chips.

Hens simply know how to get things done.

    I thought my “girls” are strange when there are two in the nesting box. I guess not.

    My girls sleep in the nesting box and lay their eggs in a nest made on the floor of the coop, who am I to argue?
